进屋后检查水电能否正常使用，开关后灯能否正常亮起，出水是否顺畅，如果有空调、电热水器等电器的话，还需要检查安装是否牢固，使用是否正常。

另外插座是否有电也需要进行检查，如果没有相位测试仪这种专用工具的话，尝试给手机充电来检查也是一种不错的替代方案，但要注意的是，这种检查方法是验不出火零线接反等情况的，会存在安全隐患。

验墙地面一是要验是否平整，二是要验是否有空鼓。如果是专业的检查的话，我们一般会使用建筑工程质量检测器，而一般的家用检查，其实只需要一把长度适合的水平尺就够了，靠近墙壁和地面进行检查是否平整。

另外还可以准备一把直角尺，用于检查墙面与墙面之间的阴角和阳角是否通角（即90度直角），专业的一般会使用内外直角检测尺。

检查空鼓一般都是使用空鼓锤，如果条件不允许，寻找类似物件轻轻敲击也能起到一定检查作用，原理是敲击后能听到与其他部位不同的声音。如果存在空鼓的话，墙地砖容易开裂脱落，影响美观和居住。

验家具主要是检查家具和橱柜是否会存在裂纹，搭接缝处理是否平顺，表面应光滑，没有流挂（涂膜上留有漆液向下流淌痕迹的现象）漏涂，开关应该灵活，附件五金牢固稳定。

下水不通畅也是很多人家里常见的问题，在验房的时候也要注意一下。主要集中在两个用水区域，厨房和卫生间。厨房水槽里可以先放一定量的水，然后看下水是否顺畅无阻。

卫生间主要看地漏下水，比较常用的检查方法是用水桶接水，然后从远离地漏的另一侧倒出，看水能否自流向地漏，顺畅下水。因为一般卫生间地面为了下水，地面都有一定坡度，地漏都位于地势最低处。

网络可能是很多人都会忽视的一点，如果验收时没有检查出网线问题，等正式入住后再想维修预埋的网线就会比较麻烦了，只能再走明线弥补，十分不美观。

一般都是通过专用的网线测试仪来进行测试，检查网线是否正常，如果没有专用的仪器，直接带一台电脑来进行网络测试也是一种办法，不过相对来说比较麻烦，而且还得建立在网络已经开通可用的情况下。
